Inside the village the Soul’s Confreres (Confrades D’Alma) have some partners that allow visitors to participate in a multitude of activities such as molding clay and painting in traditional pottery or confection of hand-painted tiles in studio.

Casa dos Mordomos D’Évora (Évora Butlers House) is a store/ceramic studio. Here you will find traditional tile panels with inspiration in the beautiful grounds of our history. And decorative pieces that combine traditional processes with the more contemporary inspiration. If the fascination with tiles arouses, you can always make a small workshop in traditional tiles and take home a beautiful memory of Brotas Village (Aldeia de Brotas).

Olaria das Brotas (Brotas Pottery)
Olaria das Brotas (Brotas Pottery) continues to perpetuate the potters village that once we were. The work begins in the collection of clay in the area, and ends up in the utilitarian ware pieces that once supported us in making the rich Alentejo gastronomy. Or beautiful pieces of decorative dishes with motifs of our Alentejo daily. Follow the clay preparation process or put your hands on the mass while the wheel turns. Fluviário de Mora (Mora River Aquarium)
The Fluviário de Mora (Mora River Aquarium) presents us the fish fauna of our rivers and streams. With its aquariums willing in order to present the various habitats that we can find along the waterways. Time well spent to learn which a lot of the time is not visible to us. It shows the best known species, some of our gastronomy, to those that are in danger of extinction. Come here to discover the rivers and lakes.
After this visit you can stroll in the surrounding enjoying the river beach of the Gameiro dam, from its walkway along the right bank of the Raia river, walk inside the mounted and discover the Alentejo fauna and flora.
